I soooo wish I had a picture of my childhood bedroom... Here's a visual: Hot pink, light pink and white wall to wall shag carpet and a BOLD floral pink and white pattern on the wallpaper, curtains, and bedspreads (all the same pattern of course). And I'm not making fun of my mom - it was the height of fashion then. I lived in a hot pink cloud and couldn't have been happier. I remember when the shag rug got old, she replaced it with purple cut pile wall to wall, and of course I got new fabrics, too (the same bold purple floral pattern on the walls, fabrics, and windows again). When I was in my twenties, and even into my thirties, I wouldn't touch wallpaper with a ten foot pole. And I especially wouldn't match the fabrics to it! Well, wallpaper sure has come a long way. Look how fresh and new that style looks, and I love it again:
I wonder if in thirty years we'll be cringing at these? I kind of doubt it:
I love the geometrics. Along with grasscloths, they are my favorite:
I love the idea of a wallpapered ceiling:
I LOVE this idea for a child's room (and not just for a boy!)

Wow some of the wallpaper here is mazing, the pink one with the old writing on it is divine.
I love all of the wallpaper rooms! Especially the Lilly Pulitzer dressing room!

I agree - I love that bedroom with the black and red asian type pattern behind the bed, and the room with the bold black mirror in front of it. I'm with you - the geometrics and grasscloth always look soooo good!
Well I love wallpaper......to me it has the ability unlike other things to totally transform a space and give it new life! Such pretty pictures above, I love looking for wallpaper, its so much fun though the chioces are endless and when it comes time to make a decision, it can be daunting to narrow it down. Wallpaper has never looked better!!
Ohh I LOVE wallpaper!! The best thing is all the new ways we use wallpaper these days, like on ceilings and in shelves. The kitchen with the wallpapered ceiling looks amazing, love the depth it brings to that room!

I love wall paper. I really want to use some on the furniture I refinish.
The given designs in this blog are simply marvelous! One can rest comfortably in his/her bedroom as the blending of colors in the room are relaxing.
