Today I'm featuring vignettes by two of my favorite designers. Vignettes are obviously so important in good design, but can be hard to get just right. These first few, from Elle Decor A-List designer Jay Jeffers, are perfect in my view --while paying so much attention to detail, Jeffers and his associates clearly know just the right time to stop fussing, too:

I love this turquoise and orange color combo so much. I'm seriously thinking of going for the turquoise and orange when I can redo the guest room. The good news is by that time, I'll know if it was a trend that faded away, or a color palette that is here to stay!

I love love Phoebe Howard, she is my design idle. No one can do symmetry like Ms. Howard!! These vignettes show she can also do asymmetry beautiful, but she can do anything beautifully in my opinion. Loved all the images you chose, they are all a great study in design. Kathysue

Love these! I really love the composition of the mirrors/pictures in the last image!
I love looking at the pictures. It's so true designers know how to use the right amount. I on the other hand, either go to sparse or too much. These give me get ideas.
Oh and I love, love, love that bookshelf.

I love the Phoebe Howard gilded bookcase design, and the chair and stool in that last one - so classically beautiful, but with a twist!
Love your selection! I've been in the antiques field for a decade, and I love seeing how various designers incorporate beautiful antique boxes and objects to personalize and enliven a room!
