A Great Weekend and New Rooms I Love

Monday, September 29, 2014

Happy Monday everyone...I hope you all had good weekends. We had a great weekend where my son did really well in his football game. He plays quarterback and tackle (I think?) but it is the offensive position he really loves. He had a bunch of long completed passes and touchdowns and they won. And that's all I know about football! But as most of you probably know, there is nothing more fun that watching your child succeed and be proud of themselves :)

And Ellie sang the National Anthem there. She was really nervous but she said she was going to do it and she never wavered. We were SO proud of her. I don't know where she gets it - none of the rest of us would ever be able to do it.  It was really cool, too, because it was a last minute thing, so Bobby and all of his teammates were on the sideline when they announced her name from the booth, and they all whipped around to see her up there (she is 4 years younger and idolizes big brother's friends).  And then everyone told her how great she was and she was positively beaming. I wanted to share it with you but it is too long and it maxed out my tech skills. Anyway, it was awesome.

But then THIS happened. My husband took my daughter clothes shopping.
NEVER. AGAIN.

Onto the rooms - I love all of these beauties!

what an "emotional" weekend for YOU! Nice going to the kiddos!! I remember singing the National Anthem when I was in "high school" (centuries ago) and I applaud your daughter...it's a toughie! franki

Great decor inspiration as always.

The good news is that your husband didn't take her clothes shopping before she sang in public. That might have been the outfit she insisted in wearing.
So sweet to go shopping with her dad.
