Hi everyone!  First, I want to thank Leigh at Tales From Bloggeritaville and Carmella from Creative Carmella for featuring my Master Bedroom Reveal today. I am honored to be included on these two wonderful blogs.  There are enough amazing links here to keep you busy all weekend...please go check them out, and if you aren't following them already, you should be!

I almost never post about crafts, but I have seen so many great ones lately, and I really want to share some.  There are so many good ones for DIY dummies novices like me -- too many to post all the tutorials for.  So, I used Pinterest so you can click the link at the bottom and get to the original sources for tutorials if you are interested.  There are also some photos in here of things that are just plain brilliant ideas, but not really "crafts."  Finally, I couldn't help throwing in photos of some awesome craft rooms. I hope you enjoy it!

Genius!

Egg cartons:

LOVE this for 4th of July!  Sifted flour and a stencil -- this would keep my kids happy for hours!

This was a man's shirt:

Even I could do this one.... five pillowcases sewn together to make a sleeping pillow. AND, you can take the pillows out when not in use, and store it in a tiny space!

How funny is this for a bookcase?

This actually looks REALLY easy....I've never tackled upholstery, but this looks as simple as changing dining chair fabric:

So flippin' cute:

I love this idea to preserve their "littleness," and it would look so cute in a bathroom or child's room:

Some craft rooms I would love to have:

Lastly, Kathysue over at Good Life of Design has a new series that I love.  It is where readers send her design questions and she posts them for other readers to respond to.   I submitted today's question, and am super excited to see the reponses.  The question is something we all struggle with, I think, but you have to go over there to see it!

What a great round up of crafts and craft rooms. I don't do many crafts any more, but boy when I was younger and more into crafty ideas I would have loved to had a craft room. Some really wonderful ideas in this post. Thank you for sending your readers over to my blog. You have gotten some really good answers in the comments. I can't wait to see more!! xo Kathysue

Wow, the great ideas just keep coming in this post! :) My faves were the sifted flour (great kid entertainment like you said :)), the apples and that first work space - so clever and a great use of space!
