Wow some real showstoppers here! I can see why you love them so.....I am drawn of course to the ones with light flooding in and views of the ocean, stunning. Looks like they have perfected that calming peaceful elegant Cape Cod vibe. Love it!
PS That boys room is amazing with the bow sticking out of the ceiling!

Another Massachusetts architect that I like (wait, no make the LOVE, LOVE, LOVE) is Patrick Ahearn. (www.patrickahearn.com) His style and work makes the house look like it's always been there.

I like Patrick Ahearn too! But this is amazing work, and don't you just love shingle style homes?

OK Stacy....it doesn't get much bette than this! Although it makes me long for bigger and better...and for a full time life on the beach!! It also makes me appreciate my shingled, Cape Cod style home! The one that I longed for and built 14 years ago! I've never stopped loving it...but sure have some new and fresh ideas I would love to see happen!! One day soon!!!! Thanks for the post!

Beautiful, traditional style on a grand scale that still is inviting and homey - tough to pull off! I really loved the bedroom with the halway separated seating area but still with a view of the fireplace. I thought that was a clever design... Great idea for the party in the underwater bedroom, by the way - I thought that was a great idea! :)

For as wonderful as this architect is, most people who live on Cape Cod don't have houses that look like this. It's sad to say that many of these huge homes are built for summer residents. Don't get me wrong--I'd love to live in one, but for most it's out of reach financially. A great thing to dream about.
