50 Favorites for Friday (#2)

Friday, October 7, 2011

Hi everyone! This quote has been all over the papers the last two days, and I thought it was worth pondering:

"Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
~ Steve Jobs

Good food for thought.

And now the eye candy.... Since spend a lot of time during the week looking at photos and saving the ones I love, but often can't fit them into neat little categories, I started "50 Favorites" on Fridays to show you my left over, random photos:

Stacy, Shes right- So much eye candy. I am not sure which i liked best. There are certain elements from all of them that I liked. The white ottoman, the head board, the great chandelier with paper. To many to mention.

Hi Stacy,
Congrats on being featured today at The Enchanted Home. Well deserved! You always have such "pretty posts to ponder".
With so many inspiring images here, it's hard to pick a favorite, but, I'm loving the "No more monkeys jumping on the bed" wall treatment! How fun is that?!
Have a lovely day, Stacy!

Love this concept, so many fabulous spaces but you know which one REALLY took my breath away? The log bunk beds, holy moly...that is sooo cool and I wish I could jump in there with cozy pj's and a great book ( maybe throw in a bag of chips or red vines while you are at it) that is so great looking!! Saved it for my files. Happy weekend!!

The third picture is of one of Sacramento's better restaurants, called Ella! It's a wonderful spot, should you ever get to town. Secondly, I love the Steve Jobs quote and forwarded it on to my two kids. He's a real California pioneer-hero!

I just love this series you do! I get the same feeling after seeing these as I do after a very satisfying meal or a great glass of wine! So enjoy them. Have a great weekend. M.
