It's the last day of school here - my big boy is going to high school!! He won a "white cord" for making honor roll all three years in middle school yesterday. We save the cord for 4 years and he wears it at High School graduation. Isn't that cool? A surprising number of kids got green cords, which is high honors (all A's) for three years. His grade is a truly great group of kids. The Principals, guidance counselors, and teachers all along since kindergarten have said it might be the nicest, kindest grade of kids they have ever seen. As parents, most of us are more proud of that than of any sports, academic, or other accomplishment. My eyes are welling up evening writing it.
And my baby finished 4th grade today. One more year and I'll be complaining about her going to middle school! She got all A's - she's the hardest worker I know!
Ok, onto the rooms, and sorry for the late post today!
Congrats to the kids for their most wonderful accomplishments in school...I know you are a very proud mom...They are growing up so fast!....Have a great weekend.
Gorgeous images (as usual!) and great success news for the children. You have every right to be so proud of them.
Congratulations to you and the kids. You must be so proud as you should. It must be bittersweet. They are achieving but growing up
