Don't you love my creative title to this post? Hopefully the photos will be a little more inspirational! In my dream home, there would definitely be a wine room. I don't even drink much wine... only if we are at a restaurant or at parties and on holidays. The rest of the time it's bourbon. (Just kidding!!) My preferred drink is wine coolers or something equally sweet. I know ... it's kind of embarrassing that I haven't evolved past a 21 year old new drinker. But even though I am not a wine enthusiast, I totally want a wine room just to look at and hang out in and have a dinner party in. Here are some pretty cool ones:

Wow, what a collection of beautiful wine rooms. We can't even imagine having so much space dedicated to wine. Thanks for stopping by our blog. We are so glad to have found you.

I am not a huge drinker lately though with my stress level its a hobby that I might temporarily take up..haha but these rooms could make me a wine connoisseur! Seriously beautiful, some of them downright breathtaking, I love when I see dining areas set up in the wine room....thats the ultimate!!
I like wine (I just don't have expensive taste in wine!) but my Dad would think he'd died and gone to heaven in one of these rooms. Imagine having the money and space to have a wine room; mind you, I wouldn't mind a shoe room! I guess it's just a matter of personal preference :)
oh wow... this would be a BAD idea for so many reasons! can you imagine having teenagers and going away for the weekend?! Hahaha, gorgeous rooms though!
These are amazing! I had never seen one that had access through a whole in the floor via the kitchen - I think that would freak me out on a daily basis! :) Otherwise I loved many of them - the old brick is a must for the right look and feel, I think.
The glass door in the kitchen floor is a riot! Honey, kids, please leave the kitchen, so daddy can go down to the wine room! I don't want anyone to fall in accidentally!
Seriously, crazy serious wine lovers!
Cheers!
Hi Stacy. First, that musta been one hellava of a rain dance>>> It's bucketing down here. You could make a living girl!
2) Now you are talking my lingo with wine rooms. Phew what a stunning collecting.I am in heaven here and being a wine drinker and living in a wine region it is so much part of our culture. I have seen my fair share of stunning wine rooms/cellars and they add a wonderful ambieance to any home. Even a teeny wine room always has a sense of mystique and class about it that attracts people instantly. One of the things that I would love to learn is Sabrage. Imagine opening a bottles of champage with a sabre! Pure theatre!
Have a fab weekend

My favorite one was the simple small room with the two stools made out of old wine casks with leather tufted tops! When we bought our victorian house (built in 1881) many years ago and where remodeling the kitchen, I found a skeleton key with a tag that had "wine closet in cellar" written in very pretty handwriting...I was so excited! So I ran down to the dark dank cellar and hunted around...and there under the stairs was a rustic cabinet made out of wide boards with a lock! I slipped the key in, yes, it fit! I opened it up, and inside all I found was one big cork! I sure had my hopes up for a vintage bottle of chateneuf de something or other....
I'm taking a long break from wine, since I'm pregnant. But I do admire theses rooms!
Wishing you a blessed weekend!
Many hugs to you.

I love wine rooms. Wish I had one in my home. Instead we have smaller wine racks that hang on the way. We even make them now. You have some lovely photos here. They're definitely great inspiration.
Thanks,
Liz
