Can You Spare 200 Million Dimes?

Saturday, July 9, 2011

For those of you who read this blog regularly, you know that when I dream, I dream BIG!  Some of my favorite posts are my "In My Dreams Dream Homes."  This one is is similar....  I was browsing $20m homes (why not?) and came across these.  Honestly, I think I would have a life-long panic attack if I ever DID have this kind of money to spend on a house. What would I do? I love everything from the rustic Colorado log house to the traditional Annapolis retreat to the ultra sleek glass house.  I'd love to hear what you would choose!

Love all of these homes! The Georgia home is so my style. I could move right in! That dining room is gorgeous. I would love the views of the California home and I love the exterior of the Annapolis home. I love to browse high end real estate as well. It's always good to dream big.

I love the house in Georgia. The colors are so soothing, and the floor plan, with its spacious rooms, appears to have wonderful flow.
The Annapolis home has a gorgeous exterior. I love the beautiful flooring and architectural details.

Wow!!! I love a couple of these places but if I had 20 million I think I would love a place in Paris or Scotland.

Stacy,
Every photo in this post is inspirational. In fact, a couple of them remind me of a nearby showhouse in Alys Beach. Tracery is one of the many talented design firms represented in the endeavor. The best pics I could find are on a realtor's link (I have no affiliation) and I think you'll be impressed with what you see. Take a look at this spectacular creation if you have a chance.

All beautiful...no wonder we are friends, you gotta think big! That first one is pretty amazing and over the top, love all of the vast spaces and that they didnt' make the wood too dark as is done in most western style homes. Amazing rooms!

This is quite the lineup. I love the first house and the Georgian, both so elegant and grand!

These homes are incredible! It is a shame the images are not of a better quality though. I love the wooden cladding of the Colorado home and that staircase is incredible.
