Thanks so much for your blog entry! Last week one of my ID teachers refused my request to use Ms. Shower's work in my design assignment to "restore and repurpose" the Entrance Hall @ Osterley Park Manor - UK. Apparently he had never heard of her, disliked her designs "derivative of Barbara Berry" and compared her to Ralph Lauren! I was so infuriated that I dropped the class. I'm still upset about it! How out of touch can a "so-called" interior design instructor be?
