The Interiors of David Kleinberg: "Traditional Now" (Part 2)

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

David Kleinberg, the designer of one of my favorite celebrity homes (M. Night Shyamalan's, here) and writer of one of the best design books ever, Traditional: Now, has one of the best portfolios in the business.  I hope you enjoy Part 2 of this post (for Part 1, please click here):

I hope you enjoyed this portfolio as much as I did.  Here is a link to his book...it's one of my favorites and has been in my sidebar forever:

Very cool portfolio! Traditional with a twist! I like the way he adds unexpected whimsy... like whatever is hanging over that kitchen banquette... light? art? giant ball?

Thanks for sharing. I'll have to check out the book :)

He's new to me and his work is amazing. I noticed there was always a twist with materials chosen, pattern, or something else unexpected for great style, without getting too crazy! Beautiful...

I truly thought this was one of the prettiest posts I've ever seen and can't wait to get my hands on that book! I need something like that that I can devour! I loved the whole house and really liked the mirrored vanity. I've wanted to do that in my bathroom for a long time! Thanks for sharing!
