What I Want Today.... A Disappearing tv!

Tuesday, November 1, 2011

Have you seen these disappearing tv's by Seura? They're AMAZING!!!  Look closely -- they fade right into the glass when they are off, and turn into mirrors. How cool is that?  Now if I win the lotto (which I have no chance of doing since I never play), this would be one of the first things I would buy.

I first saw these a few year ago, and they started at $5000 or so.  I was sure they would come down in price, but so far no luck. They seem to be doing really really well in hotels and the contract industry, so that is probably the best chance of seeing one for now (and also makes me think the price will hold for a while).  I recommend them to every single client, but no takers yet.   I can't say that I blame them...while many people can afford the $5000, it is a lot for a tv.  But check out how totally amazing they are and definitely send me a picture of you have one or know someone who does so I can live vicariously :)

Yes, I've seen these before Stacey. So Clever. I think they're priced OK though; it is similar to the cost of the first plasmas that came out and everyone bought those. I think the problem here is that the techie men want their new expensive gadget ON SHOW so they can compare size with their mates as boys do. (All inferences deliberate!)

Wow! Pretty & neat! :-)

I wouldn't mind having one of these too. They're so sleek. If I can call a TV beautiful, this would be the one.

Have a great day, sweetie.

My favorite ones are when they are in the mirror like in bathrooms. For my girls weekend in Charlotte the Ritz had one and I was like I could get used to this in the mornings. I had not seen the larger ones before though.

I love the way they are done in the bathroom, so you can watch the morning news while you're geting ready! Dealing with tv placement is always a pain. This does help make it less intrusive!

Wow those are amazing!!!!!! Actually yes we were in a hotel that had them in the hotel in the bathroom of all places, it was pretty incredible and my kids especially loved it!! They are bound to come down so hopefully sooner than later, you will be telling us about YOUR new TV!
