Today's images are all by a designer who is new to me  -- Meredith Heron.  Do you guys know her?  I found her on twitter. She could be the most famous thing ever and I might not know because I have been out of my mind busy lately!  Clients always come in groups for me for some unknown reason, and I have almost more than I can handle right now, including a cross-country project in CA that I can't wait to start (it's almost a blank slate, which I love).  Also, my daughter has her dance recital tonight.  This photo is from her dress rehearsal - doesn't she look cute all dressed up with grown up hair and makeup?  We took her out to dinner after this in full hair and makeup, but changed her out of her dress into normal clothes.  Not such a great idea - we got a lot of looks from people who must think I put tons of makeup on her everyday (I don't, I swear :)

Anyway, enough about me....here is Meredith's awesome work:

Finally, a HUGE thank you to Michelle at Thrifty 101 for featuring my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Desk. I am thrilled and honored! There are so many great ideas at Thrifty 101 -- I love the kids' projects like making chalk paint, doll shoes, and so much more:

Thanks for reading!!

What a sweet picture of your daughter! And lucky you to have almost more clients than you can handle! :) This designer has great clean traditional looks with a twist - it reminded me a lot of your beautiful work!!!

I love the simple elegance of her designs. I don't know her, but now I love her work. I love the kitchen with the lower cabinets gray. I really want to do that to my kitchen when I get tired of all white. You're daughter is so pretty. Thanks for sharing the great pictures.

Stacey, I'm not sure how I stumbled across your blog a few weeks ago but I'm sure happy I did! I love the images you share every day - they are stunning and just my taste. I enjoy starting my day curled up on the sofa with a cup of coffee and soaking them all in. They are food for my soul. Thank you for doing what you do!

Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments. Enjoyed reading them... and yes I did contemplate painting the whole chair white.. after applying the polyurethane it became kinda too green. But you guys have talked me out of it now... after all your sweet compliments. Hope you guys had a great time at yesterday's recital. Have a wonderful weekend!~Poppy

I am so in love with that large tufted head board in the middle of the post! I am looking for a new bed, and this is the direction I'm headed.

What I wouldn't give to be able to take a nap in that room!!
