Etsy Twelve for Tuesday (Favorite Etsy Shops #4)

These are this week's picks for the best Etsy stores for home decor and women's fashion.

1. Canvas Nautical Tote Bags

I think these canvas nautical bags are awesome. In another life I'm going to have a use for the long board cover.



2.  Natural Makeup and Skin Care

I have to switch to these. I keep reading how the regular brands are bad for you, but I haven't done it yet. There are so pretty to look at though.



3. Screen Printed Tote Bags in Stylish Patterns

I like these because the patterns are so current. I kind of wish they had some gold leather piping, but I know they take custom orders so it might be possible.



4.  Handmade iPhone Cases

I think these are super cute.

5. Kilim Rugs

These are expensive everywhere I know of. But if you're in the market, these are so gorgeous and the prices are as good as I've seen. Sometimes I really want to put a small one in the kitchen, especially since I'm so influenced by all the pink seen now because it's the color of the year.



6.  Blue and White Kitchen

I'm a sucker for handmade.



7. Original and Affordable Abstract Art Paintings

LOVE these!



8.  Original Watercolor Paintings and Paper Mache Items

Sort of a funny combination for a store, but I think this artist is talented enough to make almost anything.



9. More paper Mache - Gold Lined Bowls

I remember rocking the paper mache art classes in grade school.  Ashtrays, mostly I think (it was the 70's). Then I never thought about paper mache again for 35 years, until I started seeing them on Etsy. I think these are gorgeous. It inspires me to want to do some with Ellie, especially because they don't do it in art class anymore here.



10. Handmade Authentic Japanese Kimono Purses and More

This is what Etsy is all about to me. I think these are awesome - purses and handbags made out of authentic, vintage Japanese Kimonos. I would never have seen these if not for Etsy.


11. Hand Dyed Japanese Indigo Blue Shibori Linen Towels

Shibori is a Japanese hand-dyeing technique that's been around since the 8th century, and seems to have come into fashion recently.

12. Anthropologie Inspired Shower Curtains

Here are the original Anthro ones:

And ones I can only assume are inspired by them. I know they are a popular item at Anthro, and think they are cute for a kid's bathroom:
