My husband hates it and my son calls it the "crazy light." But I think every room needs a touch of whimsy. And besides, "to thine own self be true." I recognize that the sputnik lights are not for everyone, but I love it. If my husband cared it would be an issue, but honestly, he doesn't. Pick your battles and all I guess. So here it is, from every conceivable angle. I airbrushed the holes in the ceiling out (if only it were that easy) and as usual forgot to turn on the lights in the other rooms, so the photos are not great quality. Nevertheless, here they are:

Ii have never liked Sputnik lights but I honestly LOVE it in your kitchen! I don't know if its because it is an unexpected light or what but I love it. Honestly your whole kitchen is gorgeous! It's a nice surprise and a keeper!
