I spent about 12 of the last 24 hours pouring over the internet to find an affordable mirrored bed like the one above. Here's why... I recently updated my bedroom to this sort of funky, modern style:
You see the problem, right? THE BED IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!! I loved it when we got it, but it just doesn't fit into the new style of the room. It's actually a four poster, but my kids broke the posters(?) so I put these silly finials that don't even match (but you can't really tell in the photo). I'm dying to get a super funky all mirrored bed, but they are like $10,000. I found one on eBay, but it was still pretty pricey.
Here's the eBay bed. Gorgeous, right? But my husband would kill me ($3500 for the queen, and I need a king)!
There is also this one for only $500, but it would have to be shipped from England! So, I'm out of luck on the mirrored bed. Of well, you can't have everything!
So here's what I think I'm going to get instead of the mirrored one. Do you like it for this room? I would love to know your thoughts: Not quite as glam as the mirrored ones, but for $543 for a King, I think it'll do!
Then over time I can add my glam factor with things like these. (PS - mirrored furniture has been written about to death in the last couple of years, so I tried REALLY hard to find new pieces that I haven't seen on other blogs!)

It's so gorgeous, I'm green with envy =D Love all the mirrored beds you found, but honestly, I think the white one you settled on and I think it will work even better! You have lots of beautiful mirrored details to start with, and I think this classic bed will add the perfect touch of sophistication. I can't wait to see it in your home!

I've never come across mirrored furniture before?! Whether its because its a bigger thing in the US than the UK or just because I'm not that clued up (yet!) on things like that I don't know, but I like it!!! Particularly that bathroom pic you have, must be quite a nightmare to keep clean and shiny though!?
Sarah....check out www.glamfurniture.com ....my favorite mirrored furniture site. I actually have a mirrored kitchen backsplash and it is so easy to keep clean, so with the exception of fingerprints from little ones, I don't think the furniture is hard to keep clean!

They have an inexpensive "mirrored" bed at Pier 1. I have only looked at it online so I can't say what kind of quality it is....
