I am and always have been a big fan of neutrals, too. In the example below, I love that the tiles can accommodate any accent color, even the bright yellow of a sunflower. With a neutral kitchen back splash like this, you could change your accent colors on a whim:

Love this post as I am contemplating changing out the tile in my kitchen...I do not have much backsplash in the kitchen, so changing it out would not be such a terrible expense...I love the combo of glass and marble horizontal tiles...however, I am worried that it may be trendy...so what do you think?....
Wow! That last "suzani" tile is amazing. The only problem I have with real colorful kitchen tile is that it's a lot mor difficult to change than a paint color. My brother just had a whole wall of green subway tile installed in his kitchen. It looks great now, but will he tire of it? Pretty choices though!

A great post...loved the yellow! ( I have no yellow in my house, but thought the tile was great). Funny, I took pictures today of a restaurant bathroom tile that I was going to post because I loved it so much, but didn't...maybe I will;) Are you getting any rest?!
