Look forward to your post each day so much. Commenting from e-mail...
I love your blog! I receive it by email and I always transfer to your website from the email. I can't pin from the email, but have no problem pining from your website. Thank you for providing such beautiful inspiration! What an absolutely lovely blog!
Love your post and yes I can pin from my email. Thank you for your comments on being blocked, I also have been blocked from certain sites apparently my posting of beautiful kitchens offends them!!!!
commenting from email...thank you again, stacy! :D
I get your blog on my Gmail email account and am unable to pin directly from it. I have to click on the hyperlink at the top (with the title for the day, and click from there.
It's always worth it - however I pin from it. Love your blog, Stacy, and share your sentiments on #pinallyouwant!
I receive your posts through my blog roll Stacey.... great imagery today

can't pin from email, comment button jumps to this page so it's good!
I pin a ton of stuff from your blog but always go to the browser.
Thanks!
Lighting has changed so much over the years. I love that you have elegant options other than the old fashioned chandeliers.
Hi Stacy
Im in heaven with all these ideas today, and will enjoy looking at you post again later.
I think your bedroom is looking great, making soft furnishings also, I know what a lot you have already accomplished.
I like your rug, Id say keep it
Warmest wishes to you X
Love that Venetian mirror with the darker console - gorgeous!
I just want to thank you so much for the beauty you share with us on a daily basis. Every morning I can't wait to see what you have posted. You are very much appreciated.
Do you know who did first bedroom - love the art all in white. Also do you know anything about the bas relief murals shown in the same blog. Can you tell hunting for white art.
I really like how you explained your thought process as you design or redesign this space. And I can't wait to see the finished product. Here's what I don't get about the hide, it looks really thin and like you are going to have wrinkles or trip on it all the time. Has that been your experience or is it one of those things where you love it so much, you don't care?
Thanks,
Dotty3814
Hi Stacy,
Thanks for the post on white paint colors. Love your kitchen! I love the mirrored backsplash. How do you like it? Would you use it again?
Thanks for the designer secret and I am definitely staying tuned.
Thank you so much for your gorgeous blog-I look forward to it everyday! Actually, I open it first, before even important emails-haha-Kathi
Wonderfully fresh bright spaces today -just a notch above your usual beauties. Where's the "like" button? Always a joy but today even more. Thank you!
Deb
Hi! I definitely like the new rug better, good choice. Also, I like the gold better. They are fancier than the cream. - Rebecca :)
That anonymous comment is so sweet and I just wanted to say thank you!! Thank you all for your nice comments! #bestreadersever
Stacy
Dotty Lees: yes, it IS very thin and does wrinkle, and yes, you nailed it - I love it too much to care :)
Stacy
Maureen: everyone always asks me if the backsplash gets dirty, but it really doesn't. In all honesty, I don't cook that much, but when I do I just wipe it with Windex and a paper towel. I love the backsplash and have never regretted the choice for a second!
Stacy
FYI for the commenter who asked about the Like button: it is in the bottom row at the end of the post with all of the social media buttons, in blue. Thank you so much!
Stacy
To anonymous who asked about the white art in the bedroom – I think maybe you are looking at a different post? If you screenshot the image and send it to me I will try to track it down for you!
Stacy
Love this second rug, so much! And, I agree on the gold panels too. I think the accessories make the magic so I can't wait to see the final pics. I look forward to your blog every day, you are so prolific with photos, it is always an inspiration. I'm building a new house and can't begin to tell you how many pics I save from your posts and study again and again on my iPad. it helps me see patterns in my true likes. Thank you so much!

OK, that chesterfield sofa is pretty amazing! I haven't commented here in a while, and hate to be Negative Nancy, but I think that the drapes at the end of your bed really break up the whole room. What would drapes look like, floor to ceiling behind the headboard, by themselves?
Your kids are adorable, of course!
Cheers,
Barbara
The gold panels are definitely the way to go!! Love the rug and all your progress!
Wow, I love the idea of covering stools! So cool!
Also, the neck pieces.....
Not so much the handbags but just me....
You have some fabulous ideas.....
So nice you have them from your mom....
I would definitely do a tote (with leather handles and bottom). Then, a small bag, maybe mini messenger. Then, a simple neck piece, like the one in the first picture. - Rebecca
Stacy,
I've been following you for a few years now. Just wanted you to know you never fail to disappoint. Each and every room you post is amazing. Thank you for your inspiration. Quick question: how do you put together your boards? Are you using a specific program?
Best,

This is an amazing blog. You show us different designs and art, but all of the is wonderful. The interior design is so elegant and beautiful. Great job!.
Wow! I can not believe people are taking the time to write you nasty notes. I absolutely look forward to your posts and all of the wonderful decor you find for us! I have noticed that people seem to love to criticize a lot through social media. Sometimes I wonder if things can be misinterpreted through text rather than speaking face to face. Lets just say I hope that is what is going on here! I love your work and often look through your blog many times for inspiration! Keep it up!
Oh, gawd. What an amazing company. Drooling, drooling, drooling.
Your blog is always a treat to open and spend some time.
Wold love to know abot the "new" place to dine. We live on the Cape and are always looking for reasons to go Off Cape to eat & shop.
Thanks for your sharing "good taste"
Emilie
Keep pinning !!!! I love it all!!!!!
I don't understand why people complain about crap like that. I just saw someone comment on Sarah Richardson's Instagram that she was posting too many photos!! Can you believe it?? That is the point of Instagram isn't it? Isn't the idea on Pinterest to pin things!? Please don't let anyone's negative comments cause you an ounce of discomfort! In the words of Taylor Swift " the haters are goin to hate hate hate so just shake it off! ". I love all the things you share!
The geodes and crystals are gorgeous! The cut ones would make amazing coasters!!

An IDS instructor once told me that once you know the rules, then you can break them. After all, rules were made to be broken.
Love the polymer clay ring bowls you and your daughter made! Such a fun mom/daughter project! Just wanted to give you a heads-up about placing polymer clay objects on furniture. The plasticizer in these clays is for the most part removed during the baking stage; however small amounts can remain and will do damage to finished wood surfaces. Little felt or rubber feet hidden under the bowl's bottom will provide some protective elevation.
Thanks for,the DIY update...I was planning to put a gloss finish on these so nail polish it is. Can't wait to try this.
Thank you for making it so easy to leave a comment! I get your emails(which I usually read on my iPhone) and then I reread your posts using blogger on my iPad where I can see the pictures in a larger form. I love that you have enabled comments no matter how I read or where I read your blog! I wish more bloggers would do the same. Some bloggers have truncated their emails so you have to click on their posts and then click through again. Plus lots of blogs have those annoying pop up advertising things that never will close even when you tap on the x. So, thank you for being so considerate of your followers! I appreciate it!
Awesome blog & awesome collection, I loved it!! recently i found a nice link on home decorating ideas
I absolutely LOVE your posts. I also love when bloggers share which stores they find things and link to the items. I find great things I would not have otherwise. Thank you for letting us power pin, too.
❤️
My vote is for light # 1.
No contest. #3...lol
I like the #2 choice for your bedroom chandelier. It has quite a bit more crystal. I think it would add a wonderful glamour.
I like the #2 chandelier, I think it will add that bit of glamour we all love in a bedroom.
I always look forward to your blog! You have the most beautiful collection of photographs. As for the lighting choice - I too have always loved #3 but in looking at your bedroom I am incline to say #1 or #2 as you have a very romantic bedroom (especially the bed drapes) that may overwhelm #3. Good luck! These decisions are never easy when we have to make them for ourselves : )
I'm voting for# 1. It's timeless.
3 is way too modern and "now" for my taste. It will scream 2014 in a couple of years in my humble opinion.
Hi Stacy , before you select the Robert abbey " knockoff" of the ochre piece, look at a schematic. There are many exposed bulbs as viewed from below . Will be curious to see what you select ! Good luck!
I was all set to chime in for the Arctic Pear 'Wannabe', with the comment that 'You can't put a price tag on everything. Go for it...Don't SETTLE', when I read Anonymous' comment about the exposed bulbs. Since YOUR major view of the Chandy will be from below, looking up, that would be a Deal Breaker for me. Choosing one of the others would be my choice, after all!
I was going to chime in on the Artic Pear 'Wannabe', suggesting that you go for it and 'Don't SETTLE'. After reading Anonymous' comment about the view from below, which would be YOUR view of the Chandy, I'd consider that a Deal-Breaker. Either of the other two would look nice in your already beautiful bedroom!
I absolutely love the third chandelier. Stick with your husband's choice.
Thank you so much for sharing all of your posts with us. I think you're amazing!
Receiving your blog is so fun! And Steve Leung's work is beyond impressive - so beautiful!

Great eye candy today! I love your sense of style by the photos you choose to post. I get great ideas for my own home on the North Shore.
Thanks for the laughs!
Merry Christmas!! I pinned away, lovely images!! Thank you!!
You can make the longitude and latitude lines on the globe, by dipping a string into white paint, afixing it to the top of the globe and snapping the string in the middle to make an imprint that will either be dark enough or that you can go over by hand.
I really like the stellar door look too. I wonder if it would look odd to have a set of doors like that if all the other doors were wood?" Interesting idea!
The light is amazing! All the best for the New Year, Maryanne @ The Garden
It really looks beautiful and adds that bit of Hollywood glam to a room that I love!!! Great choice!!!! xo leslie
I like looking at your designs they are fabulist.
So agree with you Stacy. If I have learned anything in my sixty years it is to not use absolutes when talking about most things. While I also adore Jan and her design aesthetic "every" and "need" are probably the wrong words. I like a touch of black in most spaces just to ground it but as you have shown, many rooms do just fine without it. A black picture frame, a black vase, a hint of black in the fabric, a black book cover can ground most rooms but those rooms are probably doing just fine without it. Thanks for pointing this out and don't let the naysayers get you down.
Lovely rooms! Lounging in any of them would be so cool.
Stacy, love your blog! And I loved the closet and the stories of your mom. What a wonderful gift to have one of her handbags. I too, have a deep love for beautiful bags. I have a nice collection to pass down to my daughter, daughter in law and my 2 grand daughters. Sweet treasures for precious girls!
Stay safe and keep your toes warm...
1/28/15 Hoping you and your family are safe and warm! Sending prayers as its been a couple of days since your last post....I miss your eye candy but completely understand. Warm wishes as you dig out from your blizzard
Any chance someone could let me know where one finds homes with kitchens such as these? We reside in one of the toniest enclaves in the USA outside of NYC and not one house we looked at while house searching had a kitchen like these. We looked at over 50 homes. The houses are in the $3-$5m price range and they are/were all maple, cherry or oak cabinets and a bit dated. Even the yearly show house homes do not have kitchens like in the photos. We now have a kitchen like those posted but it was a total gut job with expansion. I've always wondered if it is a "white kitchens photograph well" but in reality people prefer natural wood kitchens. Any insight would be most welcomed. Totally curious. Thanks for such a lovely post!
Such beautiful kitchens! I especially love the white with the dark wood cabinets that look like furniture. Love the contrast!
♥♥♥ the bright splashes of color done in such an elegant manner! Great job, Stacy
3:1 Annie Sloan Old White / Annie Sloan Old White
2 Coats Clear Wax
Did you mean 3 parts of old white to the other color?
I'm with you, I love Linens and Boxwoods. I have been eyeing the preserved boxwood topiary ball.
Thanks.
Hi, I would love the Chelsea monogrammed weekend tote from Linen and Boxwoods-my only problem is, do I put my first name intial or last name initial on it?
polka dot and striped bowls, love them
I'm loving all of the scarves right now....it's chilly outside. They have some beautiful colors. I also like the gold and pearl bracelet with the cross. Thanks for the giveaway and your wonderful blog!!
Am I the only one who is posting a comment about L&B? Or am I am idiot for misunderstanding the instructions, LOL? Well, far be it from me to let pride stand in the way of possibly winning a $50 gc to such a fabulous site. So....I'm in love with everything, but would be elated to own the Red Vineyard Bowl.
Smiles, Jo
Wow, what a great site with really great prices. Luv the Darcy everyday bag.
Love your blog! I always find a inspiring room from your collection. I am loving the wooden cutting boards from Linen & Boxwoods!
Love the vintage dough bowl
HI Stacy,
Not sure if this is where you wanted comments on that wonderful store Linenandboxwood but I, too, love all of their La Dolce platters!
And love your blog! Have found so much inspiration in the beautiful rooms you post!
Love the dot scarf in Strawberry. Thanks for sharing their website.
Wonderful items, so hard to choose. But I would like the antique bread bowl. I kick myself for not buying one when I found them years ago!
Stacy
