Apartment Therapy, the mother of all interior design blogs, is currently hosting it's 7th annual small/cool home contest. There are many terrific entries, but three of them really stuck out for me.
This first one is only 285 square feet. I'm in love with this apartment! You can see more here (and read the comments, some of them are hilarious. People hate the deer head. I'm not a fan, but it also doesn't bother me.) This entire living space is smaller than a 20x15 kitchen, but it is so move-right-in-and-enjoy-livable. I want the bed sooooo badly.
A second favorite of mine, listed here, is a whopping 515 square feet. A little too much animal print for me, but I love the use of color. Or maybe it's just the art over the dresser, which brings it all together for me:
And finally, at 900 feet (and in the largest category for size), is this one here. Again, the use of color is terrific, and I adore the trimmed curtains, and how they look closed. And the flow throughout the apartment/house is undeniably masterful:
