First, I'm really mad at myself for not thanking all of you yesterday for your well wishes about Bobby, who has been sick for a while. I took him in yesterday and they gave him an antibiotic, which seems to have kicked in a bit. He might have Lyme, he might have walking pneumonia, or he might have a virus (but my instinct is that it is more). Anyway, thank you SO much for your concern.
Thank you, too, for your nice notes about my family room plan yesterday. One person asked if I have somewhere else for the kids to play, and fortunately, I do. They'll use the room still, and will be allowed to eat in there, but I will admit that it crossed my mind to put a sheet down over the sofa for day to day use :) Also, some damage is totally 100% fine with me. The broken sofa frame, not so much. But one of my very favorite things in our whole house is the ceiling in my bedroom - it is 100% marked up with light red stains from Bobby hitting it with the football. I know I'll look at them longingly when he is off at college in four years (sniff sniff - gotta get started feeling sorry for myself early).

I'm sorry to read about Bobby. Hopefully the meds will help. My friend and her son have Lyme. They see a Lyme specialist in PA. They live where you did. That area is FILLED with ticks. I know how serious it can be. Hope it was caught in the early stages. I'll say some prayers.

I'm a tad behind on my blog visits and I hope Bobby is Ok. We have several "landmarks" in our home created by our children. At the time some seemed like serious offenses. Now that they're adults we wonder what the fuss was all about.
