I've always been a fan of neutrals such as taupe and cream but I seem to be drawn to greys too and there are some interesting rooms with grey and white here.
I always love your eclectic curation of images, many of which I haven't seen before, despite my shelter porn habit. But today, you may have finally solved what seemed our insoluble staircase problem, an ugly red oak 80s staircase. Since all our floors are light, and the stair treads are also, staining the banister a dark color didn't seem right, but painting the entire thing white wasn't appealing to us, either. But picture 52 today was the perfect solution, with the seagrass runner edged in black tying everything together. We are totally copying it. Thank you so, so much!!!
