Yesterday's post had this orange room in it (the first one below), and I got a lot of emails from people saying they hated orange but loved that room. And I totally knew what everyone meant. I'm not a huge fan of orange either, but when done right, it can be beautiful. Not that I'm rushing out to paint a room orange, but I do really admire these rooms, and the designers who did them. It takes a lot of talent to do it right, just like red and purple, in my opinion. Here are 20 that I think are exceptional:

Some pretty rooms and noone did it as good as Mary McDonald...she could make an orange lover out of anyone!
I am always drawn to orange even though I would probably not paint a room orange, but definitely would and do use orange accents, artwork, upholstery and your pics show just how beautiful orange can be.
