I was thinking my family room was lacking something....and finally decided it might be color (and maybe curtains, but I'm reluctant to put them back up after painting because it is SO much roomier and brighter without them). So, for color, I added some turquoise from one of my favorite Etsy stores,
Pop O Color, and of course Home Goods. I think I like it! What do you think? Oh, and I can't decide which photos are best, so I'm just showing you all of them :)
I hate how the lights make the paint look yellowish - in real life it looks plain gray!
Thanks for reading!!
I hope you'll visit my store for Rugs, Lighting, Art, Furniture and more:
Of course your space looks great Stacy! Are we ever finished? No never, you can never go wrong with turquoise.
Beautiful Stacy! Love the color palette and will check out the Etsy store mentioned!! Great pillows. Oh and like it w/o curtains!

Stacy, just beautiful Everything loos great as usual. I am finally done with my family room and I am hoping to post it tonight.
Oh it looks absolutely gorgeous! So beautifully put together and accessorised - and the turquoise accents are fabulous! I'm having a similar curtain dilemma with my dining room - the room is SO much lighter and brighter without them - but at the same time, i DO love a window treatment - decisions, decisions - lol!

What a beautiful room! Love the turquoise. Looks like it should be in a magazine!
I love it Stacy! Love the idea of the 4 small tables as one coffee table-- If you dont mind sharing your source for those I'd love to know.
I think you are right!! The pop of color really added a nice touch. Perfect choice in pillows, very nice indeed, Happy Monday,
Kathysue
Stacy, love the new pillows. They add a nice touch.
The fifth picture is my favorite...I think I can see the true colors...the room looks so much brighter!...Love the pops of turquoise...The room is gorgeous...and I agree, I love the windows just they way they are...
Have a wonderful week!...I am getting ready to go to the Haven Conference....can't wait! :)
Looking good! I so wish we had chosen a darker hardwood stain color. I let my husband have the say. Why? On such a huge decision? I have no idea but they'll be a bit darker, when hardwoods go in upstairs next month. Can you hang the curtains where the rod's wider, and the panels don't cover the windows/light source?
Stacy-
You have brought summer in here! I love it! The pillows are great too.
Hope that all is well with you.
Happy Monday.

Stacy, the turquoise is so pretty in your family room! And I've told you before how much I love the striped rug, too! Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

It looks so bright and fresh, I am with you about the drapes. I take some of mine down during summer and put back up in fall/winter for the cozy factor. Either way, the room screams fun!...and that is a hard thing to get when it is really, so elegant. Well done:)
S for spectacular! G for gorgeous and M for magazine ready!!!!!!!
You nailed it my friend, it cannot possibly get any prettier! I think your room alone warrants a post on why a touch of black in a room ALWAYS works. I just love what you have done...you are so talented and make it look way too easy but we all know better:)
Looks great! I love seeing the updates you do in your home!
Very nice. I do love your striped rug. I know what you mean about curtains. The place seems lighter sometimes, doesn't it?
I never get tired of seeing your family room. I could see it all day! Beautiful!!
Your new pillows look beautiful - and so does the room! You are right, that is a great Etsy shop!
Love the new cushions. They add a nice hit of colour and pattern.
What a beautiful room. I am hosting a Giveaway to win a 50 dollar gift card to the store HomeGoods. It would be great if you stopped by and entered. Thanks Anu
