I've always had lofty plans for my future home(s), sometimes scaring my husband a little with the size of those dreams. Now, with the kids and other realities setting in, I still dream, but maybe not so big. Now the dream is to be able to maintain the lifestyle we want and somehow be able to pay for college. So these homes by world-renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern are more "in my dreams" homes than anything else, but are fun for me to look at nevertheless. I hope you enjoy them and don't get too jealous (a problem I often have)!
Thanks for reading!!

One of my favorite architects. His work is stunning, and there is always so much detail in every room. The ceilings are gorgeous!!
You are so right--dreamy sums is up.
Thanks for the inspiration and introduction to Mr. Stern.
Oh my gosh! This is a stunning post I love to see how others live:) thanks Stacy!
Wow. Architecture so well done. I just love the curves, the ceilings, the volumes created in the spaces. Thanks for reminding us about how a good house starts with the bones.
Robert Stern is a master class architect and his spectacular homes are proof of just that. I so enjoy going to his website for inspiration.....always something beautiful. Nothing wrong with lofty dreams, what is life without aspiring to something wonderful! And Stacy, trust me...there are many who DREAM of living in YOUR house!
Great designs! I love the fourth photo - the dining room and gorgeous sweeping staircase - grand, yet still cosy and of course the final one - what a view!

I can completely appreciate his amazing talent, but as beautiful as it all is, I love cozy smaller houses where your family is all together. Yours is the perfect example! :)
Exceptionally beautiful. I love the neutral palette used here. I would love to take a dip in the pool too.
Happy Wednesday.

So many classic details really take their home to the next level - wow! I can see why you dream about these homes!
From the way this looks, I think that you mainly need two things: light and a water view! Gorgeous images, Stacy. Thanks for more inspiration (wild envy!).
Hugs, Cluny

NOW< you can call me CRAAAZY, but
I've "been there, done that" (in the "large home" department, that is) would be good, relaxing fun (room for everyone!), YET, as I get "better not older", I adore the idea of DOWN-SIZING... THAT appeals to me soooo much!!!
Stilllll, TGHIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!! So glad you shared this charmer here today!!!

Hi there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this site with us so I came to look it over. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Outstanding blog and amazing design.
Love that venetian mirro and those pink walls!
The furniture stuff is looking too great and designs of kitchen's furniture are looking so elegant. These are manufactured according to the modern furniture and I like colors the most which have used for painting.
