I totally understand the appeal of less is more, and find myself striving to declutter and simply all the time. But 9 times out of 10, I end up in the "more is more" camp on decorating. Personally, I think it's because I like 'things' too much to really embrace less is more. I want to be surrounded by things I love, and you have to use less of them to achieve that cleaner more modern look. Where do you all fall?

The posts about white rooms that I do are always amongst my favorites, and today is no exception. My whole first floor (except the top half of the dining room walls) is painted white, and I have no desire to change it, and doubt I ever will. It's the perfect canvas for any style, and keeps things bright and cheery. Do you like white rooms as much as I do? I'd love to hear from you!

This has long been my favorite design style - transitional, or updated traditional. I try not to get bogged down in rules or names of styles, but this pretty much covers the look I usually try to achieve. What do you all think?
