So this post is really just a 50 Favorites post because it is a totally random collection of rooms that I love.  I'm off to buy Valentines Day "loot," as my daughter calls it, for my favorite people.  However, our state legislators here made a law this year that kids can't have ANY candy, baked goods, etc., at school.  I totally see the reasoning, but like so many laws, I think it went a bit far.  What was better than being a kid and getting those little candy heart boxes with the sayings on them from everyone in the class?  And no birthday parties at school anymore either.  The schools actually said we should send in pencils for everyone in the class on our child's birthday, instead of cupcakes.  Ha!  Anyway, it makes me sad sometimes, so I am off to compensate by buying a ton of candy for my kids.  See you tomorrow!

Recreating Horchow's Discontinued, Ever So Popular Bedding

This bedding was from Horchow several years ago.  Isn't it pretty?

Since I started this blog, I have had more people write to ask me where it is from than I can count.  In fact, I think it is my most-asked question.  And I kind of hate that because I am constantly writing emails disappointing people, telling them that is is discontinued.  It makes me sad.

So, I decided to do a post showing you some alternatives that ARE available.  Here are some options - not all cheap, but similar looking at least.  You can click the links to see pricing, etc.  They are from stores like The Company Store, Serena and Lily, and higher end stores.  I almost gagged when I saw some of the prices, but a couple are affordable :)

I really hope this helps those of you who were disappointed that the first one was discontinued.  I know how upsetting that can be, believe me!
